Every month, our master trainer facilitates an interactive public speaking and communication skills workshop to provide the tools and resources need to help women advance in their careers, grow their businesses, and build their networks. By participating in our monthly workshops, you will build an actionable communications toolkit that you will also put into practice within a support group learning environment. During each workshop, there are also opportunities to practice your public speaking skills and receive instant expert feedback from our master trainer.

Effective Communications Month

Every June we host a month-long community celebration in honor of Effective Communications Month. The theme for this year’s programming is Small Talk to Big Moves! Join us for community conversations, workshops, and experiences designed to transform your relationship with networking and build your confidence in connecting with others in meaningful and impactful ways!

Money Talks Forum

Money Talks is the only annual forum and financial empowerment event designed exclusively by women of color for women of color. The purpose of this annual gathering of women professionals, business and thought leaders is to dismantle the taboo of women talking about money while providing them with the financial knowledge and resources to build wealth. The first Money Talks forum was hosted on Black Women’s Equal Pay Day in August 2018. Past prominent sponsors and speakers have included BBVA, Teri Ijeoma, and Courtney Sanders.

As we continue our mission to advocate for closing the racial-gender salary and wealth gap, Money Talks has grown into an annual multimedia campaign as it continues to remain a prominent community-driven women’s forum.

Annual International Women’s Day Networking Soirée

International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. Annually, we host a celebration of womanhood, sisterhood, and the spirit of support for young women business and thought leaders in the City of Houston. Enjoy experiences intended to spark collaboration, shop and support local women-owned businesses, music, cocktails and lite bites, and more!
